We're a coffee roaster and shop in City Heights, San Diego. Coffee Lifers, 20+ years in. Coffee is people, so we work with great coffee people, source for sweetness, and keep 20% of every bag at origin. Every cup here should amaze you. If one doesn't, that's on us, and we'll remake it.

It starts at origin, with the producer's art. Coffee doesn't have a flavor. It has flavors, layers of them, built long before it reaches our roaster. Our job is the roaster's art: amplify and enhance what's already there, never impose a style on top of it. We source and roast for sweetness and complexity, and the roast follows the coffee, not the other way around.

We roast for the cup in front of you. Medals are the happy recognition that happens along the way. Coffee Review has scored six of our coffees between 90 and 95 points, one landing in their Top 30 Coffees of the year. Golden Bean has handed us medals for espresso, oat milk, filter, and decaf, gold included, across three years running.
