Check The Math
A minimum of 20% of the retail price of every bag of coffee remains in the hands of the people at origin where it was grown. Coffee Producers know exactly what you paid and what they earned.
- Bag retail: $22.00
- Stays at origin: (20%)$4.40
- Always 20% or higher
Sweetness Wins.
It starts at origin, with the producers. We roast to amplify what's already there. The roast level follows the coffee, not the other way around. Not acidic for the sake of complexity. Not dark for the sake of body. Sweet, clear, and fully itself.
The standard never moves: the cup has to be amazing. Not good. Not fine. Amazing, top to bottom. If it isn't, we roast it again until it is.
San Diego Born.
The building's been here since the 1930s. Vinyl in the 70s, underground punk in the 80s, quiet for a while, then us. Come sit in it.
We will have a cup ready for you.
Rad Coffee People
Meet the coffee producers who grow, process, and mill our coffees.
The record.
It starts at origin, with the producers. We roast to amplify what's already there, never to impose a style on top of it. The roast follows the coffee, not the other way around: some lots stay light and bright, some go deeper and rounder, some sit balanced in between. Sweetness is never optional. We roast light, and even our Plus roasts stay medium-plus, well before second crack. Sweet, clear, and fully itself.
We're not chasing a coffee that sounds amazing. We're chasing flavor that amazes you when you taste it, cup after cup.
