Espressoist - Coffee Subscription

Espressoist - Coffee Subscription

Espresso isn't a brew method. It's a practice. This subscription is built for people who know the difference.

Every coffee in the Espressoist rotation has been pulled on our Synesso Hydra MVP before it reaches you. Dialed in. Validated. The dose, yield, temperature, and shot time are on the producer data card in every bag. The work is done. You pull the shot.

The flavor range here is intentionally wide. Chocolate and caramel one rotation, stone fruit and citrus the next. That's not inconsistency. That's what happens when the only question is whether a coffee is exceptional as espresso, not whether it fits a comfortable profile. Some of the most interesting espresso shots pull from places you wouldn't expect. This subscription goes there.

The producer grew something specific. Torque roasted to make it sing under pressure. Your machine is the final instrument in that chain. Feed it accordingly.

If you have a machine and you're serious about what goes through it, this one's yours.

Coffees marked as "Espressoist" will be in the rotation of this excellent espresso aficionado subscription. Every coffee a home run made as espresso at home or the office.

  • Coffees: Coffees: Espresso-validated single origins and Drops across a wide range of flavor profiles and roast levels. Every coffee pull-tested on our bar first.
  • Parameters: Dose, yield, temperature, and shot time on every producer data card. Calibrated to the specific coffee in your bag — not a generic starting point.
  • Every bag ships with a producer data card — farm, country, cultivar, exact price paid to origin, tasting notes, and brew guide.

Espressoist - Coffee Subscription

WHAT'S IN THIS SUBSCRIPTION?

Every coffee in this rotation — single origin or Drop — has been validated on our Synesso Hydra MVP before it ships. If it doesn't pull clean, it doesn't appear in this subscription.

Flavor range:
Wide. ClWHAT ROTATES INTO THE ESPRESSOIST
Every coffee in this lane, single origin or Drop, is dialed in and tested on our Synesso Hydra MVP before it ships. Roasted and validated for the bar, not adapted from filter and hoped for.
Flavor range: wide on purpose. Warm classic coffees, fruit-forward single origins, and Drops across several roast levels. The thread isn't one flavor profile. It's one standard: coffee that performs as espresso.
Roast range: light through medium-dark, depending on the coffee. Every roast level here is tested specifically for espresso extraction.
On every producer data card you will find the parameters for the coffee in your hand:

Dose (grams in)

Yield (grams out)

Brew temperature (°F)

Shot time (seconds)
Those numbers are specific to your bag. When a new coffee arrives, start with the card, then adjust from there if your setup calls for it. The card is a validated baseline, not a guess.
Example parameters from recent Espressoist coffees:

Dark Drop Plus: 17 to 18g in, 36 to 38g out, 201 to 203°F, 25 to 29 sec

Honey Drop: 18 to 19g in, 35 to 37g out, 201 to 202°F, 32 to 38 sec
(Parameters on this page are examples only. Always brew from the producer data card shipped with your specific bag.)assic-warm coffees. Fruit-forward single origins. Drops across multiple roast levels. The Espressoist doesn't lock you into one flavor profile — it locks you into one standard of espresso performance.

Roast range:
Light through medium-dark, depending on the coffee. Every roast level represented in this subscription has been tested specifically for espresso extraction, not just adapted from filter parameters.

What you will always find on your producer data card:
