Collection: BASILIO Cooperative | Mexico

Thirty-three families make up BASILIO, all farming the same corner of Nayarit since 1940, all running their own mill instead of handing that job to someone else. Two years working together and the coffee's already jumped, harvest after unpredictable harvest, some years 50,000 kilos, some years 150,000.

A cooperative that's been figuring this out since before most of the specialty coffee world existed, and we're just getting to watch the next chapter.
