A widow in Muyinga built a coffee business in an industry built by and for men, and she named it after the Kirundi word for courage, because that's exactly what it took. She learned from Jeanine Niyonzima-Aroian and JNP Coffee alongside other women farmers, and now she's the one teaching the next ones coming up.

This Bourbon grows at 1,683 meters and gets naturally processed at a wet mill women run start to finish. Every part of this coffee is someone refusing to be told no.
